Sound Tracks Music Festival

BART's series of terrific live music performances held outside various stations returns in a new format this year -- with three Bay Area-based bands all at the same station, at the low cost of $10 per person. The admission price includes one mocktail. (There will also be food trucks on site, if anyone wants to buy from those.)

This year's Sound Tracks event features headliners Sun Hop Fat, an Ethio-jazz group I've been longing to hear again! Also on the bill: the SFJAZZ High School All-Stars and neo-soul vocalist B. DeVeaux. I think all three sets will be good! The performances go from 3:00 p.m. to 6:00 p.m.

This event is General Admission. (Buy your own tickets, either on-site or in advance, via the railgoods link.) Some seating will be provided, but I think it's a smart idea to bring your own seating just in case.

WHEN/WHERE TO MEET: In the concert seating area, ideally by 2:30 p.m. to increase our chances of getting seats together.

POST=CONCERT DINNER OPTION: At a casual, nearby restaurant where we can walk in without reservations. If I recall correctly, there are two Himalayan restaurants nearby, so those are possibilities if there is any interest. Bring cash if interested in a group dinner.
