An Evening of Indian Classical Music
Details
Accomplished sitarist Will Marsh, who recently delighted Meetup members with a Berkeley performance with a different band and program, comes to Piedmont Center for the Arts for an evening of Indian classical music. For this program, Will is accompanied by tabla player Sudhakar Vaidyanathan and sarodist Souryadeep Bhattacharyya.
COST: About $33 for advance tickets online. I also welcome $1.00 donations to offset the fees that Meetup charges me as lead organizer.
Seating is general admission. Buy your own tickets.

WHEN/WHERE TO MEET: At 6:30 p.m. inside the Center's performance area. (The show starts at 7:00 p.m. and goes to 9:00 p.m., probably with one intermission in between two sets.)
HOW TO FIND ME: I'm WF, about 5 feet tall, with short, salt-and-pepper hair and glasses. (See my Meetup profile pic.) I'll send my mobile number to RSVPers prior to the event. If I'm missing anyone when I get seated, I'll post a Comment on the Meetup Event Page saying where I'm located.
LOCATION: Piedmont Center for the Arts at 801 Magnolia Avenue, Piedmont.
PARKING is on the street.
NOTE: Unlike most of the events that I post, this is not a quick walk from a BART station. However, an AC bus line goes from 15th and Broadway in Oakland to within a block of the Center for the Arts. (People also have the option to take a ride-share from Rockridge BART, about a 15-minute drive from the Center.)
