Film club: Blue Velvet at FACT

Blue Velvet is a 1986 cult classic thriller written and directed by David Lynch. It stars Isabella Rossellini, Kyle MacLachlan, Laura Dern and Dennis Hopper. Although it scores 91% on the Rotten Tomatoes tomatometer it significantly divides critical opinion, yet still apparently recieved better than Lynch's 1984 version of Dune.
