Welcome to Liverpool Architecture Explorers! You are invited to join me in discovering the rich architectural endowment of the city of Liverpool. An amateur, I shall be using Professor Quentin Hughes’ book Liverpool: City of Architecture to pick one or two buildings for us to see each time we meet. Why architecture? It combines two things that I love: beauty**, and the feeling of touching history. (I also like to walk at the weekend.) If you too love these things, then come and join me on this new adventure.
No professional involvement or formal training in architecture is required. I have neither.
*We may sometimes have to take local public transport.
**Disclaimer: you may not find every building beautiful!
