Come along for a relaxed and friendly game of chess
Whether you're a complete beginner, haven't played for years, or you're a strong player looking for a good game, everyone is welcome. There’s no pressure to be competitive. The idea is to meet people, play some chess, learn from each other and enjoy some time together in a safe and friendly environment.
We have chess boards available, so you don’t need to bring anything. You can simply turn up, find someone to play and enjoy a few games at your own pace.
If you have your own chess set, feel free to bring it along too. And if you have another board game you enjoy, you’re welcome to bring that as well. If other people are interested, we can have a game together.
The event is open to all ages. For anyone under 18, a parent, guardian, or other responsible adult should be present.
