Walk, Talk and Fork: Sefton Park & Keith's Lark Lane
Details
Join Liverpool Humanists for a relaxed and sociable get-together combining a gentle walk, good conversation and lunch together.
We’ll meet at 11:00 am by the Boathouse Kiosk in Sefton Park, then enjoy an easy stroll through the park, chatting about life, ideas, philosophy, humanism, or whatever else comes up along the way.
After our walk, we’ll head to Keith’s on Lark Lane, where we have reserved tables for lunch, drinks and more conversation. The idea is simple: get outdoors, meet new people, share some food and enjoy good company.
Weather permitting, we’ll start with the walk through Sefton Park. If the weather isn’t suitable, we’ll go straight to Keith’s instead, so the conversation and company can still go ahead.
Whether you’re a humanist, humanist-friendly, curious about humanism, or even a little sceptical, you’ll be very welcome. You don’t need to know anything about humanism beforehand. Just bring yourself, an open mind and an appetite for good conversation.
There’s no formal talk or lecture to sit through. We’ll keep the conversation going throughout the walk and lunch, sharing thoughts, experiences and ideas in a relaxed and friendly atmosphere.
Walk a little, talk a lot, and enjoy a good forkful along the way.
We hope you’ll join us!
