Walk in Formby and swim in the sea

Join us for a refreshing swim in the sea at Formby as well as a walk amongst the beautiful pine woods on Saturday 11th January

The plan is to meet at Formby National Trust, just outside the toilets next to the car park at 10am. Trains run each 15mins from Liverpool Central. Get off at Freshfields and take about a 10 min walk to the car park. Alternatively if you are driving and able to offer a lift, please post on here.

We will take a nice walk through the woods to reach the sea. Tide should be high by the time we reach there. There is the option then of taking a quick dip in the sea if you fancy it. Then off back to the woods for a picnic. Please bring a little more food than you need so we can all share a nice feast.

The purpose of the day is to enjoy, have fun, make new friends and meet like minded people

Fresh water, fresh air, great food and great company. A day not to be missed let’s embrace it and have fun....
