What we’re about
A new group dedicated to anyone interested in science and want to apply philosophical thought toward achieving answers or simply asking more questions.
Expect and encourage robust conversation, inclusive chats looking at the subject from varying perspectives and angles.
Each meet up we will have an unanswered subject we can research and and look to apply healthy and lively discussion to with the goal of seeing if we can gain further insight.
I have chosen to conflate the scientist with the philosopher. Whilst there are similarities to these minds, the differences are what can make for such interesting discussion. Both have a want to decipher further understanding yet their methods are incredibly different.
The scientist requires sturdy proof, vast experiments and a wealth of research, hours of detailed analysis and rich knowledge based upon their forefathers and the scientific method.
The philosopher delves deep within themselves and explores the wider instrument from a point of singularity. Answers must be felt rather than proven.
I am aiming to meet every 3 weeks around Liverpool. Please click on the events as and when they arise for more details. The structure will be basic and centred around the subject matter chosen.
