Vegan Ethiopian and Eritrean Food at Ge'Ez (296-298 Kensington, L7 2RN)

Hi all. We're hosting an event at Ge'ez on Saturday, June 20, at 5pm. It does incredible Ethiopian and Eritrean cuisine.

(Not all of the dishes at Ge'ez are vegan, but the ones that are should be clearly marked on the menu. It shouldn't need to be said, but attendees are asked to respect the other members and only order vegan items at the event.)

Word of advice from previous trips - the portions at Ge'ez are massive! It's advised to get only one main, or, preferably, share with someone. The Beyeaynet or Shiro are ideal vegan picks!

Unlike previous events, Ge'ez is outside the city center. It's on the 10s bus routes, and drivers can park nearby, as it's close to the big shopping center/McDonalds in Kensington.

This is a great chance to meet new people, support vegan-friendly events in Liverpool, and enjoy some great food.

We have started asking for donations to help with the costs of running the group. Meetup’s costs have recently increased and there are also costs for certain events such as a barbecue when buying coals and firelighters.
