Magento Meet Up - The Adobe Acquisition!

It's been quite a while since the last Magento meet up in Liverpool and a lot has happened in that time, Magento has been acquired by Adobe for one! We will be getting someone from Magento to attend and provide us with an update on the recent acquisition and what that means for the community.

The plan is to provide beers, pizzas and a line up of great speakers (more to come on who and what), followed by some beers over the road in the Hub.

Our speakers for this event are as follows;

**Stephanie Kershaw from Magento will be delivering the updates from Magento and providing the low down on why did Adobe acquire Magento and the transition so far.

**Tom Wilcock from Expansive will be delivering the evenings 1st merchant talk and discussing 'Building the business case for change', the steps and techniques used to loosen the purse strings to deliver upon potential.

**Ollie Hunt from DEV TEAM will be delivering the 2nd merchant talk and discussing the B2B features of Magento Commerce.

**Barry Mason & Liz Lynch from DEV TEAM will be delivering the evenings tech talk
