Liverpool Magento Meet Up - October '19

Details
We're back with another Liverpool Magento meetup, kindly sponsored by Dotdigital.
Join us on Wednesday 30th October, where we'll provide beer, pizza and a some great talks from people in the Magento community!
Our Speakers for the event are as follows;
– Nicola May - GENE
Did you know 71% of all visits to ecommerce sites in the UK are from a mobile device? Sophie, a member of the team at GENE and also small business owner, will be discussing the importance of Mobile Optimisation and a initiative to gain global insights on how we can improve conversion on mobile.
– Alex Shepherd - Magento
Magento's own Alex Shepherd will be joining us to discuss Magento 2, share insightful statistics and explore some interesting use cases.
– Michael Gunner - GENE
For every 1 second of reduced load time, a typical online retailer can see a 2% increase in conversions. But performance is as much about inclusivity and the open web as it is profits. Michael, a front-end developer at GENE will show you how performance budgets can help you not just build for performance, but maintain it.
– Clare Walker - Dotdigital
"The Future is now! Are you ready for it?”
The modern day consumer is far more in-tune with how valuable they are and what you can offer them. Brands need to engage customers in a deeper, more meaningful way, that's why Forrester have reported that 72% of businesses say improving customer experience is their top priority. Join us as we tackle just how we make our communications more relevant using technology that is now available to us.
Following the talks, we'll have an open discussion about Magento and also find out more about the topics you want to discuss, so for future events we can bring in more great speakers you all want to hear from.
For those who want to join us after, we will be heading to the pub for a few drinks.
This meetup is open to ALL; Agencies, Merchants, Freelancers, Students et al.
Look forward to seeing you on the 30th October!
