Lentils are the fundamental building block of Indian meals. Almost every home based Indian meal includes a choice of lentil. Become friends with Lentils. They will widen your meal choices, nourish you in down times, and surprise you with their versatility. And you won’t to have to worry about protein sufficiency anymore.

In this workshop, we will learn about the wide range of lentils and their benefits. Then, we will get down to preparing 5 different lentil based dishes - as curries, as soup and as salad. We will conclude with enjoying a wholesome Indian meal at the beautiful garden cafe of Suananda. You also get to take a small portion for your loved ones back home !

The class will be a mixed of demonstration and hands-on cooking.
After a full house in its first run last December, we are delighted to repeat this workshop in our Indian cooking series.

About the Teacher
Mrs. Sukesh is the entrepreneur behind Suananda Vegetarian Garden & Ayurveda, an oasis of good food and Ayurvedic healing in Silom. She has perfected her cooking over 30 years and incorporates the best practises of Ayurvedic philosophy. She is a dedicated yoga practitioner and teacher. She leads Ayurvedic holistic health retreats at their centre, Mahi Retreat, in Chiang Mai.
