Sunday at The Metropolitan Museum of Art

💵MUSEUM TICKET IS $25 unless you are a NYC resident. There is an optional dinner afterwards around 4pm at a Mexican restaurant near Penn Station. It has outdoor seating on the rooftop. We should arrive at the restaurant around 5pm and then you can leave whenever you would like or are done eating/drinking/relaxing.

Spend a Sunday at The Met! This wonderful museum has something from every continent for everyone. I am partial because I used to work there for a few years. I know the whole museum inside and out and I will walk us through and tell a little about the exhibits. Or you can go through on your own and meet us back. Either way, The Met has lots to offer but we need to start early.

You can either meet us on the steps around 10am or take the train with us from NJ. We can all meet at one station or meet in Penn Station. We can discuss as the day gets closer and depending on who is going.

If you would like to go on your own and drive, they do have a paid parking garage attached to the museum. But, it can be pricey.

Central Park is next to The Met, so afterwards we can walk through the park.

We can also have dinner together in the city and the restaurant will be announced later.

I put the end time as 5pm and you are free to head back home then or we can stay in the city at bit longer if we find more fun things to do!
