Expand Your Meditation Practice with a Day of Mindful Living
Do you want to experience the depth of a meditation retreat but find it hard to take a full weekend away? Are you interested in weaving mindfulness into your everyday routine—work, errands, conversations—so that awareness becomes a continuous practice rather than something reserved for the cushion?
This contemporary, one-day “retreat” is designed for those who need to stay engaged with their life’s responsibilities while deepening their mindfulness practice. Think of it as a retreat-within-your-regular-day: You’ll still move through your schedule, but now with conscious, moment-to-moment attention.

How It Works:
Morning Intention & Meditation:
We begin together on Zoom, setting intentions for the day. You can share aloud or quietly in the chat, whichever feels right. This opening session grounds us and sets a tone of mindful awareness that we carry forward. Afterwards we start with a 30-min meditation
Mindful Hourly Check-Ins:
Rather than stepping away from life’s tasks, you’ll approach them as extensions of your practice. Every hour, we pause for a brief 5 or 20-minute group meditation to reset and reconnect with our shared intention. It’s like adding little “retreat pockets” throughout your normal day—working, cleaning, walking the dog, or having meaningful conversations—all done with the presence you’d bring to sitting meditation.
Evening Reflection & Meditation:
As the day winds down, we gather again for a longer meditation and group reflection. Here, we share experiences, insights, and challenges, learning from one another’s journeys and solidifying the lessons of mindful living.
Why Practice Together?
In traditional retreats, people commit to 12+ hours of meditative practice partly because they’re supported by a sangha—a community united in purpose. This is the power of practicing together. Knowing that others are dedicating themselves to increased awareness, even as they go about their busy lives, can inspire and hold you accountable. Our collective presence becomes a source of strength, helping each of us sustain deeper, more intentional practice than we might on our own.
Flexible Participation:
Attend as many or as few of the sessions as you can. Even brief check-ins or the opening and closing meditations can have a profound impact. The group’s energy and commitment serve as a guide, encouraging you to maintain wakefulness and compassion in every moment, no matter what your day entails.
Join us for this unique, modern approach to retreat practice. Together, we’ll discover how to bring stillness, clarity, and heartfelt awareness into the flow of everyday life.
