Poetrio is a new project that aims to blend the beauty of music with the artistry of poetry for a full sensory experience
Join us for this free performance featuring songs and original poems evoking awe, creativity and wonder. Poems will be performed to a variety of songs ranging from classical composers such as Bach and Barber, to contemporary artists such as Sigur Ros and Muse. Leave feeling rejuvenated and refreshed from the meditative experience of this journey through sound, words and imagery
There will be a brief reception at the end with light fair and the opportunity to meet and greet the poets and musicians
Musicians: Charlie Probus - violin, Ilan Simon - viola, Sara Joy Tiberio - cell
Featured poets: Marina Rozova, Travis King, Antino Art, Sara Joy Tiberio. (All talented published poets who have done readings across the triangle and each bring a unique voice to the project.
