What we’re about
Living Presence is a community for mindful movement and meditation. We gather in parks, on beaches, and in studios to explore simple, grounding practices that help us slow down, listen inwardly, and reconnect.
Here you’ll find restorative and dynamic somatic movement classes, meditation with discussion circles, and contemplative tea ceremonies.
Across all our events, you can find spaces that feel approachable and supportive, with an open-hearted atmosphere. These gatherings invite you to unwind, move with ease, and feel more at home in yourself and in community.
Come gather with us in nature! All are welcome here.

A playful, guided journey into movement, flow, and embodied freedom.
This class invites you to awaken energy through guided somatic explorations that gradually build from slow, mindful gestures into more dynamic and expansive movement.
With music as a companion, we’ll shake loose old patterns, enliven circulation, and discover new ways of inhabiting the body.
Rather than set choreography, the focus is on intuitive movement — guidance is offered to help you explore, but there is always openness for you to follow your own authentic expression. The result is often playful, freeing, and deeply restorative, bringing lightness and vitality into body and spirit.
Wear clothing you can move in comfortably. Bring a mat if you’d like for the slower opening and closing portions. If you haven’t been to a somatic movement class before, you might find it feels a bit like a cross between yoga, tai chi/qigong, mindful stretching, and freeform dance — but with more openness for personal exploration.
Donation-based class ($5–$20 suggested). We offer these gatherings as a way of supporting community well-being. Contributions help us continue offering them regularly. No one will be turned away for lack of funds. You can bring cash or Venmo @LIVINGPRESENCE

- Restorative Somatic Movement On The Beach 17th & PCHHuntington Beach 17th & PCH, Huntington Beach, CA
An invitation to soften, slow down, and return home to the body.
In this class we’ll explore gentle, restorative movement practices that help release tension and nourish a stressed out or depleted body. This approach is especially supportive for anyone experiencing pain or restriction in their movements — whether from aging, injury, or stressful life events.
Considering the high stress environment of our times, anyone can benefit from this kind of slowing down, tuning inward, and bringing new life into areas where we feel stuck. Together we’ll explore natural somatic expressions — guided in part, but always open enough for you to find your own authentic movement, expression, and feeling.
No experience is necessary. Wear comfortable clothing and bring whatever helps you feel at ease (a mat, blanket, or cushion). If you haven’t been to a somatic movement class before, you might find it feels a bit like a cross between yoga, tai chi/qigong, mindful stretching, and freeform dance — but with more openness for personal exploration.
