Orchards and Patches is an event part of 4 Seasons Walks, a series of walks led by Living Streets (BEST).
The goal of this program is to promote walking all year round and moving without relying on driving. The focus is on how Active Transportation connects communities.
We will cover two routes, around Metro Vancouver Region.
- Each of the four walks is accessible for All Ages and Abilities. None of the routes has a too steep draft.
- All routes have benches and public washroom facilities access.
- We are offering this program to seniors mainly, but everyone is welcome. We cherish the value of intergenerational activities.
- This is an outdoor activity.
2:45 pm - Meet us at the small Plaza (Westminster Hwy and Blanshard Dr). We will be coming from Westminster Hwy.
The walk will take nearly 1 hour to complete with time to stop to take pictures and rest.
The terrain is primarily flat with almost no vehicular traffic. There are benches and public washrooms along the route.
After the walk, you can stay in the area or come back with us!
