Living Streets promotes walking to enrich and experience public space, creating community ties, as a feasible way of transportation, and as a catalyst for physical and mental health. Living Streets is a program that identifies opportunities for education and public engagement in the pedestrian realm.
Everyone is welcome.
Our events are to promote walking all year round and moving without relying on driving. We care about Active Transportation connecting communities in Metro Vancouver.
We are committed to maintaining a welcoming, safe, and respectful environment for all members of our community. Harassment, bullying, or any form of inappropriate behavior will not be tolerated.
We reserve the right to remove any member who engages in such conduct, ensuring that our walking group remains a positive space for everyone. If you experience or witness any concerning behavior, please report it to the group organizers.

Each of the walks is accessible for all ages and abilities.
All routes have access to benches and public washroom facilities.Everyone is welcome. We aim for these events to be an opportunity to meet new people and value the community we live in. Meeting Point at the most northwest corner of the park at 100 Ave and 140 St | 49.184111, -122.834028. This route begins right near one of TransLink’s new Bike Walk Ride Roll routes on the 100 Ave Bikeway. This bikeway is just one example of TransLink’s commitment to growing an active transportation infrastructure network across Metro Vancouver, sharing costs with local governments through their Local Government Funding Programs.
We'll take a gentle loop through the forest trails, soaking in the fresh air and natural surroundings. Attendees will have the opportunity to meet people, walk, and enjoy nature as we follow the Willow and Birch Trails, passing by Green Timbers Lake. 🌿
Our activity will end in a loop where we started, right near the 325 Surrey Central Station Bus stop.

- 🚶Granville Walk & Talk: Walking Through Change🏙️Olympic Village Skytrain Station, Vancouver, BC
This walk is accessible for all ages and abilities, designed to welcome everyone in our community.
All routes have access to benches and public washroom facilities.
Join us as we explore the upcoming and improved pedestrian and cycling connections across Granville Bridge, starting at Olympic Village Station. Along the way, we’ll pass by Island Park Walk and Granville Loop Park, enjoying the vibrant urban landscapes and community spaces. The Granville Connector is one of TransLink’s new Bike Walk Ride Roll routes, highlighting their ongoing commitment to investing in active transportation infrastructure across the region, made possible by sharing costs with municipal partners through their Local Government Funding Programs.
Our walk concludes at David Lam Park, where you can relax, socialize, and take in beautiful waterfront views.
