QA Meetup (Infinum + Celtra)

Infinum and Celtra are joining forces again and organising the first QA meetup in 2024. RSVP to the event and listen to the following two talks:

1. Recipe for Success: Strategies for Managing Multiple Projects as a QA (by Mija Vandek)
   This presentation draws parallels between the chaotic gameplay of Overcooked and the multitasking demands faced by QA managing multiple projects.
   Through personal anecdotes and lessons learned, we’ll delve into the significance of mentorship, realistic time estimation and other important topics.
   Based on personal experiences, the talk aims to offer insights and tips for navigating project management complexities.
2. Integrating QA into product development process (by Uroš Kovač)
   The rapid introduction of new functionalities, the recent changes we’ve made in the way we deliver software and the absence of dedicated project management have lead to various quality issues. These included anomalies in our SDLC flows and reduced value in delivered features. This was a situation at Celtra a little less than two years ago. Join us to learn how we overcame them and why today Celtra's QA team writes test specifications and conducts peer reviews, similar to our product and development teams.

About presenters:

1. Mija Vandek
   Mija Vandek holds a master’s degree in Comparative Literature and Applied Linguistics. She has been working as a QA at Infinum for over two years, focusing on IoT projects. Accustomed to managing multiple projects concurrently, she has never worked solely on one.
   Outside of work, she enjoys running, reading, and spending time with her dog Dotty.
2. Uroš Kovač
   Uros has been with Celtra for more than 10 years now and has been leading its QA team since 2019. In his free time, he enjoys playing basketball, travelling with his family and spending time with friends.
