Easy Nature Walk + Picnic Hang

Hi everyone!
Let's do an easy hike at Lake Norman State Park (Lake Shore Trail)! This is more of a walk and talk than a hike. It's going to be very casual and we’ll take a shorter route/turnaround so no one is committing to the full 6 miles (expect ~3–4 miles ish depending on where we turn back).
📍 Where: Lake Norman State Park - Osprey Shelter
(178 Shortleaf Dr, Statesville)
🕘 When: Saturday, April 11th @ 10am-1pm
🥾 What to expect: Casual conversation, no hiking experience needed
We’ll plan to start walking shortly after the meetup time, so try to arrive a few minutes early so we can all head out together.
After the walk, Derek and I (Alyssa) will hang out at the picnic tables under the Osprey Shelter for a bit. Feel free to bring a coffee or lunch if you want to stay and chat. No pressure either way!
