Bring your spouse, partner, friends!
We are getting involved in the community by joining forces with the Catawba Riverkeeper. We will be removing trash from in and around Mountain Island Lake at Riverbend Boat Ramp in Mt. Holly, NC! Plus we will have a paddle boarding adventure afterwards. Spouses, partners, friends welcome! We have a limited number of boards available so let us know if you will hang around for paddleboarding.

Location:
Riverbend Boat Ramp

- There is plenty of parking at the boat ramp.
Check In:
- Please look for the Catawba Riverkeeper tent to check in.
- All volunteers will sign a volunteer activity waiver on site.
What to Bring/Wear:
- Please wear closed-toe shoes or shoes with a heal strap.
- Please wear clothes that you don’t mind getting wet and possibly dirty.
- Bring a full water bottle. We will have water in a container to refill your water bottle.
- Towel and change of clothes (optional but highly recommended)
- Day pack to hold your personal belongings (optional)
What is Provided:
- All clean up materials - trash grabbers, gloves, and bags.
- Water to refill your water bottle.
- Wrapped snacks (granola bars, peanuts, etc.)
- Sunscreen, bug spray, basic first aid, and hand sanitizer.
- Instruction before and during the cleanup activity.
- Information about the Catawba Riverkeeper.
If you plan to bring young family members or friends, please note that they need to be accompanied by an adult if under 18.
