About us
Local Lines and Coffee is a casual, low-pressure group for anyone who enjoys sketching and wants to get out of the house to do it. Whether you are a practiced artist, a hobbyist, or someone who just likes to doodle in the margins of a notebook, you are welcome here. We meet up at different local cafes around town to grab a drink, settle into a comfortable spot, and spend an hour or two drawing in good company.
There is no formal instruction or critique involved in our sessions. We simply provide a dedicated time and space to step away from our screens and focus on our sketchbooks. Some of us draw the people passing by, others sketch the building interiors or their own coffee cups, and some just bring their own ongoing projects to work on. If you have been looking for an excuse to practice more often or just want to meet some fellow sketchers in a quiet, friendly environment, we would love to have you join us.
