In my view, caring for living things, other than ourselves, is an essential part of a full life. While coming home from the Thirsty Ears Festival, I discovered a very worthwhile and fascinating plant shop. The owners are knowledgeable, friendly, and helpful. I’ll be bringing in a cactus for repot and eyeing some of their magnificent succulents for sale. The goal is to ready my house for what I think is going to be a very traditional Chicago winter. ❄️🥶 None of this namby pamby stuff we have had of late. My plants 🪴and dog will keep me company!! Starbucks is across the street at 1601 West Irving Park Road. I’ll wait there until 11:00.
