A blind date, arranged the old-fashioned way — by a person who read both your applications and thought: these two should have dinner.
No app, no profile grid, no six weeks of texting that goes nowhere. You apply, we pair you by hand, and you find out who's across the table when you sit down.
How it works
- RSVP here to register interest.
- Apply at **www.locale.is/blind-date** — who you'd like to meet, your age range, one line about your ideal evening.
- Verify your identity — document and selfie. Everyone at the table does it.
- We match you by hand and send the venue and time. This is not a group event: you'll be two.
What we ask, and what you can expect
- Public, staffed venues. A real restaurant or bar — never a private address.
- Members only. Everyone matched is a paying Locale member, not an open sign-up from the internet.
- Show up. Be who your profile says you are. No means no, at any point in the evening. Something feels wrong — leave, and tell us.
Places are limited by how many good matches we can actually make. Apply, and we'll tell you either way.
