An Evening on Lasky Mesa

Evening hike in Ahmanson Ranch and Lasky Mesa.

Laksy Mesa was a historic movie location ranch apparently established by the Jesse Lasky-Famous Players Co. in 1914. Gone with the Wind and other classic films had scenes shot there.

Hike will be about 6 miles -- maybe more depending on group and light. Fit beginners will do ok.

We'll snack/drink at or near the ranch house

Directions to trailhead: From 101 exit Las Virgenes Rd. and head north for a couple miles. Park at end of road. There is free unrestricted parking
