Adventure Hike: In Search of Cold Creek Artifacts

One day while looking over some aerial photos I found what appears to be an outbuilding and an overgrown road bed near our Cold Creek Loop hike. I wanted to explore the area the last time we did the hike ( https://www.meetup.com/localhikers/events/136557132/ ) but did not get the opportunity. We will also visit Stunt Ranch

I am looking for a few explorers to accompany me Saturday in uncovering these Cold Creek secrets.

We will be hiking off-trail so wear long pants. Exact distance and elevation gain are unknown but not extreme or dangerous. (so far I count six miles with about 1,000 ft gain)

Adventurous hikers only. No Beginners. More details and maps will be provided at trailhead.

Here is an aerial from 1989. I also checked out some post Old Topanga fire (1993) photos and it seems this spot wasn't affected much

Directions to Stunt High Trailhead:

From the 405 on 101 Freeway... Exit Mulholland Dr /Valley Circle Blvd and go south on Mulholland Dr 0.5 mi Turn Right on Valmar St 1.2 mi Turn right on Mulholland Hwy 3.8 mi Left on Stunt Rd 1.0 mi Park at turnout on right

From the 101 Freeway WEST of Calabasas... 101 East, exit on Las Virgenes Road and head south for 3 miles to Mulholland Highway. Turn left and continue 4 miles to Stunt Road. Turn right and drive one mile to the pullout on the right.
