Tonight's is a short but rigorous hike leaving from a residential neighborhood in Pacific Palisades. Highlights include fantastic ocean and mountain views. Our route shares a portion of the popular Temescal Canyon Loop. We'll take the Leacock Trail up to Temescal Ridge and then on to Skull Rock (using a shortcut).

We'll return to our vehicles via the official trail and the Bienveneda Trail making a loop. Hike is about 3 miles with 1100' elevation gain

From Sunset Blvd in Pacific Palisades turn north on Bienveneda. Go for a mile and look for a signed entrance to Topanga State Park just before the gated community entrance. Park on the corner of Floresta and Bienvenida
