Attendees will be eligible for our prize drawings (see below). Our hike will begin at sea level in Corral Canyon, the last undeveloped coastal canyon in Los Angeles County that flows freely to the ocean. Our hike starts with a drop into a shaded creek bed and a hop over Corral Canyon Creek. We turn north and follow the creek bed up the canyon for a bit. As we start climbing the switchbacks Corral Canyon will open up before us
After about 550 feet of elevation gain we'll turn south and take a short detour for an ocean vista and a group photo. We then continue south with a gentle descent and get some increasingly breathtaking views of the coastline as we close this 2.5 mile loop. Beginners OK.
After the hike we'll have lunch at Malibu Seafood Patio where I will be providing the wine and holding two prize drawings. I have the following to give away:

Bring sunscreen, hat, 1 quart water, sturdy shoes. Clothing optional.
There is street parking on PCH, $7.00 in lot.
