Trail Grooming in Chatsworth - Twin Lakes

Katja and I started some trail work on some of our favorite Chatsworth trails last Sunday, but there is still a lot of work left to be done, too much for just two people. (see pic above)

We'll be continuing where we left off this Sunday and could use some of your help. If you'd like to help out please meet us at the north end of Canoga Ave under the 118 freeway.

Bring light garden tools (e.g. loppers, snippers, saws, shears) wear good hiking shoes, long pants, long sleeve shirt and gloves. No digging will be necessary, we just need to clear some brush growing in and across the trails.

My kingdom for a Sharon Tate/Jennifer North doll! We need to refresh the doll collection on Valley of the Dolls trail. Please bring any dolls you don't need -- or maybe buy one at the dollar store? Here are some examples - the creepier the better https://www.meetup.com/localhikers/photos/30661910/488062652/. The ones we see today were put up over 10 years and a couple of fires ago.
