✨🎉New Year's Day Hike: Musch Loop to Eagle Rock

Let's do the classic Musch Loop to Eagle Rock overlooking the upper watershed of Santa Ynez Canyon and the ocean beyond. We will usher in the new year on this airy perch, eat, drink and explore on this impressive sandstone rock covered with crevices and caves.

Plan for a 9:30 arrival time. If you miss us, head for the East Topanga Fire Road to Eagle Rock. We will do a counterclockwise loop. See map in photo section

DIRECTIONS

From Topanga Canyon Boulevard, turn east on Entrada Road; that’s to the left if you are coming from the San Fernando Valley. Follow Entrada Road by turning left at every opportunity until you arrive at Topanga State Park.

Park on street before the last left turn (and walk a couple blocks) or pay the ranger in the park ($12?). If you park on street be sure that your left wheels are inside the white line. Note parking restrictions. We’ll meet by the main kiosk near the bathrooms
