🏫A Back to School Hike to the CLU Rocks

Details
The "CLU" rocks are located on Mount Clef Ridge overlooking the Cal Lutheran University campus. They have been a fixture of CLU's landscape since its second academic year (1962). Every year, in one of Cal Lutheran's longest-standing traditions, freshman and transfer students paint the rocks.
To get there we'll be taking a "slightly" 😜more difficult route than the students use: From Wildwood Park via the Santa Rosa Trail. We will return via the Lower Butte Trail. Along the way there will be breathtaking views of Santa Rosa Valley, Thousand Oaks, and the CLU campus.
Hike is about 7.6 miles with 1,300 ft total ascent and rated MEDIUM+ See the HWD Hike Rating Guide
Note that "CLU" is misspelled. It should read "HWD" 😆
