Since I will be in Laguna this week I thought I would post a hike for this region. This is one of my favorite hiking areas in south OC.

Laguna Coast Wilderness Park lies within some of the last remaining coastal canyons in Southern California. The park ecosystem is primarily Coastal Sage Scrub, with Maritime Chaparral, Oak Woodlands, Riparian habitats, and the ONLY natural lakes in Orange County.

Plan on a 6-8 mi easy-paced hike including Willow Canyon, Laurel Canyon, Bommer Ridge and other optional trails.

Trailhead is on west side of Laguna Canyon about 1/4 mile south of El Toro. Parking fee is $3.00. Use address and your favorite internet map for driving directions.
