Moonrise Hike

Join us for a Saturday night hike to Gizmo Peak and Nike Missile Base. We will meet in Marvin Braude Mulholland Gateway Park at the southern terminous of Reseda Bl. With a 6 mile round trip and a 400 ft elevation gain beginners are welcome. Bring food, drink, and optional flashlight. There will be a 98% full moon with moonrise at 7:30pm.

Directions:
Marvin Braude Mulholland Gateway Park is located at the most southern end of Reseda Boulevard. You may enter the park 3.2 miles south of the Ventura Freeway on Reseda Boulevard. Parking fee is $3.00 (exact change). You may park free on the street outside the white line (about 100 yards down Reseda).
