Beginner Hike: Talepop Loop

This is a relatively easy hike (5 miles, 500' elev gain) with pleasant views of oak studded rolling hills. The hike starts out at Juan Bautista de Anza Park, connects with the Talepop Loop trail and climbs a ridgeline with nice views of both Liberty and Malibu Canyons.

Meeting Place: Juan Bautista de Anza Park. Park is on the corner of Las Virgenes and Lost Hills Rds. Meet at west end of parking lot.

From the Valley - Take 101 west. Exit Las Virgenes. Left on Las Virgenes to Lost Hills Rd. Right on Lost Hills. Left into Park

From Ventura - Take 101 east. Exit Lost Hills Rd. Right on Lost Hills. Right into Park

Bring 1 Qt water, hiking shoes (tennis shoes are ok), snack.
