Join us for a leisurely 5 mile hike through the old stomping grounds of Edgar Rice Burroughs in Caballero Canyon in Tarzana. After climbing to dirt Mullholland we'll turn west for a bit then south on Bent Arrow trail to the Temescal Fireroad where we will continue west and then loop around back to Caballero.

This hike is an "easy" 500 ft elevation gain. Active/fit beginners should be ok. Know your limitations. Bring water, snacks, hat and sturdy sneakers or hiking shoes.

(For the experienced hiker who is looking for something more challenging Adam (https://hiking.meetup.com/276/members/825642/) has offered to lead a more strenuous detour up the eastern ridge of Caballero Canyon. We will all meet up on Mulholland)

Meet at the Caballero Canyon trailhead on Reseda Bl. From the 101 Freeway, exit at Reseda Blvd and turn south. Drive for about two miles. There is parking on both sides of the street; the trailhead is on the left across the street from Braemar Country club.
