Wildwood Park is rich in historic and archaeological resources, unusual geologic formations, and is home to a wide range of plant and animal life. Most importantly, its also lthe ocation for this week's hike!

The first half of the hike will begin on Mesa Trail which will take us to the Santa Rosa Trail with a loop around Montclef Ridge overlooking both Conejo and Santa Rosa Valleys. If its a clear day we will be able to see Santa Cruz Island.

On our return back to Mesa Trail we begin the second half of the hike with a turn onto Stage Coach Bluff trail, past Lizard Rock, and down to the Wildwood Canyon stream. We will then hike upstream to Paradise Falls and take a lunch break at the bottom of the falls. Facilities are available along the way. We will continue upstream and hike our way out past another waterfall via Indian Creek trail.

How to get there: From the 23 Freeway (or Lynn Rd), go west on Avenida de Los Arboles and drive to end of road. Park in the lot at Arboles & Big Sky
