Parker Mesa Overlook & BBQ

The Los Liones Trail, featuring dense foliage, and ivy-covered trees will take us to a fire road which will lead us to the Parker Mesa Overlook. The trail has consistent views of the ocean, mountains and city all along the hike. At the overlook gaze at 360-degree views of Santa Monica Bay, stretching from the Palos Verdes Peninsula to Malibu. Sailboats can be seen bobbing in the waves below, and, on a clear day, Catalina Island is plainly visible.

From Highway 1/Pacific Coast Highway in Pacific Palisades, turn north on Sunset Boulevard. Drive 0.3 mile and turn left on Los Liones Drive (by The Outdoor Room plant nursery).

From 405, take Sunset toward the beach. Turn right on Los Liones.

Follow Los Liones Drive to its end in about a half mile and park in the lot across from a church.
