About us
This group is for women who would like to get together for movies, happy hour, dinner, walks, or other events around town. We have a very wide-range of ages, so please, come one, come all! The point is that there are so many amazing people in our backyard, that it would be fun to meet people locally.
In the other group, we have organized some great stuff and we have attracted nice intimate groups, which has been great to get to know each other: happy hour at Norton Simon sculpture garden, taco Tuesday, movie night, a blues band, a movie screening at the Mexican consulate, local bites...I'm open to suggestions, and I am also looking for co-organizers. You can also take ownership and host an event.
My request -- I spend A LOT of time, thinking and planning and asking, how can I help create a great community? Therefore, my only request is that, if, for ANY reason, you need to cancel, please, out of respect for me and the group, please just let me know. Things happen, I know...I don't even ask for an explanation, I just want to get notification. Creating meetups are fun, but it also takes planning and work -- and if you want me to continue hosting great things for you to come to, please don't bum me out by not letting me know if you need to cancel. I really do understand things happen.

The girls need to have some fun and celebrate our awesome blossoming friendships we have between us.
We’ll meet at All India Cafe for some yummy food and a small gift exchange. Please bring a small token to remember each other by -- $10–$20 is perfect. For example, chocolate or something sweet like a simple bouquet of flowers works wonderfully. Or something else that is cute - just a token - but please be creative!!

PS -- there is a little dive bar a few doors west of the restaurant and also Matt Denny's Alehouse across the street, in case anyone is having so much fun they want to keep going...
