SATURDAY MATINEE: THE GRAND FINALE! DOWNTON ABBEY AND POST-MOVIE BITE

Hello Ladies:

What a perfect weekend -- seeing the finale for Downton Abbey at Look movies in Glendale (a new spot), followed by post-movie bite!!

This is a long anticipated finale --- the NYT just reviewed it....Can't wait!!

As we all know, from the WSJ: "Julian Fellowes’s “Downton Abbey” is one of the greatest television soaps ever written, but amid all the aristo intrigue, the parade of wicked schemers, the imperiled fortunes and two of the most crushing death scenes in the history of the medium, it’s also something more. Its overarching theme, which it has developed with exquisite care since the series began, is that change must come. But it must be managed properly, with due consideration for the past and all its traditions and obligations. A certain dread flutters through the stomach at the prospect of the drama reaching its 55th and last chapter—“Downton Abbey: The Grand Finale."

The movie starts at 310 -- PURCHASE your own ticket beforehand here -- the links to the page to purchase....please try to meet in the lobby by 3pm -- if you are late, please find your seat (I will buy in the LAST SEAT -- F15 area as I prefer aisle seats) -- you are welcome to buy wherever you want if you prefer other seating. We will meet in the lobby after the movie and walk to a restaurant nearby (TBD in the coming day), something simple and casual. If you are not going to eat after, please let me know so I can plan accordingly.
