Traditional Meets Trendy – Get Muddy with Mirrors!
About Me
Hi! I’m Priyanka — a Molecular Biology professor by profession, and an artist by passion.I’ve self-learned traditional Indian art forms like Lippan, mirror work, pichwai, Meenakari, and Madhubani through practice, play, and workshops. What started as a hobby turned into a joyful journey of creativity that I now love to share through workshops!
What is Lippan Art?
Lippan art, or Mud & Mirror Work, comes from the Kutch region of Gujarat. Traditionally done on village walls with clay and mirrors, it’s all about symmetry, shine, and storytelling — a rustic art form of patterns inspired by nature and culture
What’s the Workshop About?
Get ready to mold, paint, and sparkle! In this workshop, we’ll bring Lippan art into the modern world — think colorful clay, shiny mirrors, and creative patterns on canvas or wooden boards. No experience needed. Just come with curiosity and leave with your own handmade masterpiece!
