Club Outing - Buchanan Castle Photoshoot
Club Outing - Buchanan Castle Photoshoot Photoshoot at the derelict Buchanan Castle. Attendee numbers have been restricted on this meet up to ensure each attendee gets a fair amount of time to photograph the model and also for safety reasons. ***Please only RSVP if you are sure you can attend as we expect this to be a popular event.*** What to bring: Camera & portrait lens if you have one. Difficulty level: This is an old derelict building. Extreme care must be taken when moving around within the grounds. Please wear sensible walking shoes. Please note that this outing is weather dependant, last minute changes are possible. Meetup at Balloch Co-op car park at 18:30hrs. Car sharing is a must due to limited parking. Club members only. There is a fee of £5 per person payable on the night which we will give to the model for her time. It would also be good if you were willing to share any of your images from the night with the model.

What we're about

The Loch Lomond Camera Club is a member-run group of (slightly mad) enthusiastic photographers who typically have a get together once a week. While we are members of the Scottish Photographic Federation (and the PAGB), we are more about getting out and about, taking photo's and learning from each other.

Our regular meetups are held on a Thursday evening alternating between a meeting at the West of Scotland Autism and Aspergers Centre (Station St, Renton, G82 4ND) and group outings.

This page is the central point for confirming your attendance of any meetups and to communicate with members via email (not all members are on Facebook). Wherever possible the information will also be shared on our Facebook page.

Meetups are usually planned one month in advance.

Please note that all members attend all events at their own risk, and are responsible for their own decisions and safety. Participants in any club activities should be aware of and accept any risks and be responsible for their own actions and involvement in the club.

Everyone is welcome to attend but any juniors (16 and under) must be accompanied by a parent or legal guardian.
