Day trip to Blackstone Clydesdales, Cumnock for a photoshoot tour. http://www.blackstoneclydesdales.co.uk/index.html "The Blackstone centre was established to secure a way to care for our growing Scottish rare breed family, to give you a chance to experience the Clydesdale horse magic, learn about their lives on the farm and witness first hand these magnificent animals." "Walking Farm Tour: Your time at Blackstone on our walking farm tour is a guided tour of the farm meeting our amazing Clydesdale horses and all the farm animals by getting up close and personal while finding out about us and our animals history. Children under 5 free of charge. You can take as many photos as you can on your visit. Please read the T&C’s on the website. As we are a working farm all participants are responsible for their own actions while on the farm and reading the T&C’s. Children must be controlled by the supervising parent/guardian, we will have no hesitation at verbally chastising your children if the occasion arises, so please do not put us in this position. We recommend old clothing or clothing you don't mind getting dirty. Please dress comfortably for our Scottish weather with fully enclosed sensible footwear like a wellington, walking boot. On the day you take responsibility for your footwear, if you are used to walking in your hiking boots or training shoes and are comfortable with this, it is your choice on the day as you are responsible for what you wear on your feet and you and your parties safety. **Our biosecurity at the farm requires you to dip your feet in a container of disinfectant, which means NO flip flops, high heels or open toed sandals"** Please Note: Due to the two hour slot we have there, we may well stay in the area for other photo opportunities (tbc). Please add a note to say whether you are happy to stay on as this will obviously affect car sharing. What to Bring: Camera, wide and tele lenses, possibly a macro/close focussing lens depending on what kind of shots you are after. Maybe a flash. and tripod if you wish and don't mind mud. Poly bag/rain cover. Enough cards/batteries to last the day. Technical Difficulty \ Risks: Easy - Gentle stroll. Please dress suitably for the conditions and weather - Hiking boots/Wellies only. These horses, while known for their calm demeanor are very large, independent minded animals - and have very big feet. Nuff said. Please note that this meet up may be weather dependent and could be cancelled late on therefore please keep an eye out on our various social media channels for updates. All club members and visitors are welcome. There is an entry fee of £20 per person payable prior to the day, payable as follows: • Paypal: [masked] (directly from paypal, not from the button here as it's still not working).
