What we're about

The Loch Lomond Camera Club is a member-run group of (slightly mad) enthusiastic photographers. While we are members of the Scottish Photographic Federation (and the PAGB), we are more about getting out and about, taking photo's and learning from each other.

This page is the central point for confirming your attendance of any meetups and to communicate with members via email (not all members are on Facebook). Wherever possible the information will also be shared on our Facebook page.

Membership of this Meetup Page is restricted to Club Members (and Provisional Members). Events are planned in advance and are published here on Meetup.

We run a public facing facebook page and a members only FB Group.

We hold frequent events including Hall Meetings (currently at the Alexandria Community Centre, Main Street, Alexandria, G83 0NU) on alternate Thursday evenings, outings (usually on a Thursday evening, or Saturday/Sundays, and bank holiday outings and weekends away.

As a member run club, we welcome new members who wish to be actively involved (for this reason you need to be located in Scotland). Junior members (16 and under) are welcome but must be accompanied by a parent or legal guardian.

We have a £5 fee for provisional membership payable before joining via paypal@llcc.scot

Once your joining fee is paid you will be added to this meetup group and to our Facebook Members Page as a provisional member.

Upgrade to a full member is reliant on your participation in events and at this point you will be changed an additional membership fee of £5 which covers your membership until the Clubs Annual Renewal Fee becoming due in December (£20 per annum). The Club fee includes membership to the SPF, the PAGB and the clubs liability insurance.

Each event has a basic cost (usually £3) but this may be higher on events with additional costs. On some events such as Planning Nights and the AGM the fee is waived.

For further information, please email info@llcc.scot

Payments to be made via PayPal using paypal@llcc.scot as the payee (please use your full name as a reference and send as a payment to 'friends and family' to avoid paypal charges). (Payments can also be made directly to the club bank account, just ask for details).

Please note that all members attend all events at their own risk, and are responsible for their own decisions and safety. Participants in any club activities should be aware of and accept any risks and be responsible for their own actions and involvement in the club.
