We are Lock Pickers United Austin Chapter, located in South Austin, Tx.
Locksport is the sport of defeating locking systems, such as lock picking, lock bumping, and other skills traditionally known only to locksmiths and other security professionals. Locksport enthusiasts learn these skills and often gather together in sport groups to share knowledge, exchange ideas, and participate in recreational activities and contests. We pick locks for difficulty, speed, and for fun.

How to find us
We will be meeting at Tribe Comics & Games, located at 3005 S Lamar Blvd #d113, Austin, TX 78704. The store is located in the middle of the shopping center next to the UPS Store and Torchy's Tacos. *On the occasion that there is an annual free comic book day or other large event, the meetup will be rescheduled on the following Sunday, and everyone in this group will be notified here, so please be sure to subscribe to group meetings, activities, and messages.

Every 1st Saturday of each month, from 5pm to 8pm, we will be meeting at Tribe Comics & Games, located at 3005 S Lamar Blvd #d113, Austin, TX 78704. The store is located in the middle of the shopping center next to the UPS Store and Torchy's Tacos. This event will be indoors and there will be air-conditioning, and refreshments for purchase. This is a non-alcoholic event.
We will be practicing, teaching, learning, discussing, and competing in lockpicking. Bring any tools you own for lockpicking, otherwise tools can be purchased from the group leader. We will provide all of the locks (over 100 of them), but you're more than welcome and encouraged to bring your own locks to pick or share with the group, just try not to get them mixed up with the group's locks.
The group leader is Sandman. He has over 18 years of experience in Locksport, and is a former trained Locksmith, a lockpick manufacturing consultant, and a competitive lockpicker.
COVID-19 safety measures
This is an indoor event. We will be sitting in close proximity to each other. Masks are optional, but never required. Please stay home if you feel ill.

On August 17, from 5pm to 8pm, we will be meeting at Tribe Comics & Games, located at 3005 S Lamar Blvd #d113, Austin, TX 78704. The store is located in the middle of the shopping center next to the UPS Store and Torchy's Tacos. This event will be indoors and there will be air-conditioning, and refreshments for purchase. This is a non-alcoholic event.
We will be practicing, teaching, learning, discussing, and competing in lockpicking. Bring any tools you own for lockpicking, otherwise tools can be purchased from the group leader for $10. We will not provide tools for loan or temporary use as they will inevitably be destroyed by beginner pickers. We will provide all of the locks (over 100 of them), but your more than welcome and encouraged to bring your own locks to pick or share with the group, just try not to get them mixed up with the group's locks.
