Stag Brook Falls

Location: Wilmington, NY @ Whiteface Mountain

Parking: Pulling into the Whiteface Ski Area, bear right at the base lodge. Quickly bear to the left into the parking lot with the small booth in it.

Bathrooms: Available in the base lodge

Distance: ~ 1.5 miles RT

Approx duration: 1.5-2 hours

Elevation gain: 450 ’

Difficulty: Easy

Description: “Stag Brook Falls is an excellent hike along a brook with numerous waterfalls and cascades. Picnic benches, nature signs, and swimming are available along the way.”
Dress for the weather. Sturdy shoes and trekking poles recommended. Bring water. Consider wearing a bathing suit under your clothes and bringing a towel, in case you decide to cool off in some of the waterfalls and pools. Bring a snack and water.

There are multiple trailheads at this location, including Bear Den and the Flume Network of trails for anyone, who wants to extend their stay. Don't forget about the gondola to the top of Little Whiteface!
