### Hands-on from the start: wallets, real platforms, your first DeFi position.

If Workshop 1 was the map, this is the terrain. Bring your laptop — we're actually doing it.

We'll start with wallets, because everything in DeFi begins there. Software wallets, hardware wallets, what the difference is and which one makes sense for where you are right now. We'll set them up together, step by step, and talk about how to keep your funds safe without overcomplicating it.

Then we go deeper into lending and borrowing — not just the concept, but the actual platforms. We'll open Aave and Kamino, walk through how they work, and talk through what a real position looks like. By the end, you'll understand how people earn yield by simply depositing assets they already hold.

We'll close with an intro to looping and multiply strategies — a more advanced form of lending that can amplify returns (and risk). We won't go all the way in, but you'll understand the mechanic before Workshop 3.

You'll learn / hands-on:
- Set up a software wallet from scratch (and understand why hardware wallets matter)
- How to stay safe: seed phrases, common mistakes, what never to do
- Navigate Aave and Kamino — real lending platforms, live
- How supply APY works and how to evaluate a lending opportunity
- What looping/multiply is and when it makes sense
- How to move funds from a CEX into DeFi safely
