Bradley Hut Ski / Snowshoe Overnight

This is a three-day trip to Bradley Hut, west of Highway 89. Friday morning, we’ll start at the parking area which is between Truckee and Squaw Valley; the trip in is about 5 miles. After arriving at the hut, we can do some skiing / snowshoeing up towards the crest.

On Saturday, we will do an optional day tour, perhaps to Silver Peak, or another destination along the crest. We may split up into two groups depending on interests and abilities.

Sunday, we should have time to ski / snowshoe moderate slopes in the Deep Creek drainage before returning to the hut and packing up. We’ll return to the trailhead between 3:00 and 4:00 p.m.

To reserve a spot, please call or email to check availability, and to get my address so you can mail a check to the Ski Touring Section for $75. The fee covers the two nights at the hut, and two group dinners. I will need to get your phone numbers, email address, a description of your experience and equipment. Also any dietary restrictions, medical conditions.
