Sierra Club Military Outdoors is pleased to announce a special tribute to our veterans in honor of Veterans Day!

• Ranger-led Tour of the Bay Model
• Picnic Lunch (provided by SCMO upon request)
• Optional tour of the Spaulding Marine Center & Boatyard (gorgeous wooden ships in all stages of construction and boat building library)

The Bay Model Visitor Center in Sausalito is a fully-accessible education center administered by the U.S. Army Corps of Engineers which hosts a working hydraulic model of the San Francisco Bay and Sacramento - San Joaquin River Delta System

The model provides scientists, educators and visitors interested in San Francisco Bay and the Bay - Delta Model a unique opportunity to view the complete bay-delta system at a glance.

As a 501(c)3 Nonprofit Spaulding Marine Center’s mission is to preserve the Spaulding Boatworks as a working and living museum; to educate the next generation of shipwrights and marine service technicians; to restore and return to active use historically significant vessels such as our flagship Freda; to share with the community maritime history and culture through classes and public programming.
