Running in La Purisma Mission State Historic Park

The Lompoc Valley Distance Club announces the upcoming Ray Gil and Alan Hunt Mission Memorial 5K/10K Run / Walk to be held on Saturday, May 3, 2025 Both of these men were members of the Lompoc Valley Distance Club. Alan Hunt was the director of the Mission Run for many years and was also the Sports Editor of the Lompoc Record. The Mission Run was renamed to honor these two runners. Both the 10K and the 5K will be held at La Purisima Mission starting at 9 AM. Registration for this event is onsite starting at 8:00 AM in the area of the visitor center which is located at the front entrance to La Purisima Mission. Entry fees for this event are Adults; 5K - $15 and the 10K - $20, Children 17 and under: 5K -$5, and 10K - $10. (LVDC Members receive a $2 discount.) Please note that these fees will include your entrance to the Mission.
