Lompoc is Running will be racing Morro Bay Rock to Pier Half Marathon

Hey runners, join us for the 55th annual Brian Waterbury Memorial Rock to Pier Fun Run and the Rock'n Around the Pier Half Marathon. Below is info from the official race website:
Rock to Pier Fun Run
The Rock to Pier Fun Run is a 6-mile point to point race held completely on the beach (hard packed sand) from Morro Rock to the Cayucos Pier. This event is open to participants of all ages and abilities. Every July participants of all ages and abilities compete in this run with a field of well over 1,000 runners from all over the world.
Rock'n Around the Pier Half Marathon
The Rock'n Around the Pier Half Marathon begins at Morro Rock, continues to the Cayucos Pier, turns around and head back towards the Morro Rock. At 10.5 miles the course will veer off the beach (up through soft sand) and will follow a 1 mile loop through Cloister's park then return to the beach (through soft sand) and finishes at the Rock. Please note that the course will be closed at 12pm for runners.
