Name: Hampshire Hangers hilly hike – 17.5 miles, 2250ft ascent, fast pace

Join us for a hidden gem of a hike nestled in the western portion of the South Downs National Park. "Hangers" refers to long, narrow remnants of ancient woodland clinging to steep scarp slopes.

Start point: Petersfield
End point: Liss

From Petersfield train station, the walk ramps up to a rollercoaster network of trails weaving through hilly woodland reserves. We will target the highest points in the area, zig-zagging along the Hangers Way from Shoulder of Mutton Hill (240m) to Noar Hill (210m) via Happersnapper Hanger (230m).

**Travel Information**

0900 train from London Waterloo, arriving Petersfield 1004.
Buy a return to Petersfield, £24.40 with a Network Railcard. The organiser will meet you at Petersfield station.
